We arranged a £200,000 CBTL loan secured on a residential and Airbnb property, allowing the client to repay equity release, consolidate debt, and prepare for their move abroad.

The client was planning a major life change—moving abroad—and needed to restructure their finances accordingly. They owned a unique residential property, comprising a main home and a separately used cottage operated as an Airbnb.

With the move abroad imminent, the property was set to be rented out, meaning their existing equity release charge needed to be repaid in full. In addition, they wanted to consolidate personal debts and prepare for a smoother financial transition.

We arranged a £200,000 1st charge consumer buy-to-let loan, using the entire title (both the main residence and the Airbnb cottage) as security. This allowed the client to clear the previous charge, consolidate debts, and reposition their finances for their next chapter overseas.

It was a great result that helped the client move forward with confidence and clarity—both financially and personally.
