This month, we were delighted to host our Spring Private Lunch Event at Le Monde Restaurant in Cardiff, bringing together a fantastic mix of professionals from across the property industry.
The afternoon welcomed developers, accountants, auctioneers, conveyancers, introducers, and long-standing supporters of Truffle Specialist Finance, alongside valued partners from Together Money and Howells Solicitors.
A key highlight of the afternoon was hearing from our guest speakers, Ryan Etchells, Chief Commercial Officer at Together Money, and Rhiannon Dutt-Yeung, Senior Associate Solicitor / Head of Auctions at Howells Solicitors.
Ryan shared valuable insight into the history and evolution of bridging, commercial, and development finance through the perspective of Together Money. Together have been a lender we’ve worked closely with for many years and a relationship we genuinely value. Time and time again, they have helped us navigate challenging client scenarios, work through complex enquiries, and provide practical, common-sense lending solutions where others may not have been able to assist.
Rhiannon also shared excellent insight from the legal side of specialist finance transactions, discussing case studies from deals we’ve worked on together and the importance of communication and efficiency throughout the process.
Howells Solicitors are another long-standing partner of ours who have consistently proven their professionalism, knowledge, and dedication when handling complex scenarios. Over the years, they have repeatedly demonstrated their ability to work efficiently under pressure, helping all parties involved move transactions forward smoothly while always remaining solution-focused.
Following the presentations, we all sat down to enjoy a three-course lunch surrounded by hardworking, ambitious, and inspiring people from different areas of the property world — all sharing experiences, ideas, and opportunities.
The conversations throughout the afternoon reinforced exactly why collaboration across the industry is so important. Whether it’s developers needing fast funding solutions, auction purchases requiring quick completions, or complex commercial scenarios needing the right lender and legal support, having strong relationships around the table makes all the difference.
